The hotel is in a prime position on the main street of Akakura Onsen and is a short walk to two of the main chair lifts in Akakura Onsen and Akakura Kanko resorts. This property has already had the land transferred from forestry zone registration to residential registration making it ready to build a new structure, which is extremely rare for land in a forestry zone in Akakura.

The lodge sits on two land plots equalling 9580m2 and is nestled in behind Tennboukaku hotel which is located on the home trail of Akakura Onsen, Myoko Ski Resort. The building itself is approximately 70m from the Akakura Onsen home trail in winter making this a true ski in-ski out property.

The building is in very good structural condition all round both inside and out, however has not been in operation for around 5 years and would require a small-scale renovation on the property to see it operational again.

Preliminary estimates for renovations are placed between ¥6,000,000 for a basic face lift and equipment upgrade up to ¥15,000,000 for a full 4-5 star refurbishment depending on personal requirements.
