Discover Lavaux
The hill of Mont Pelerin overlooks the North shore of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman) and enjoys spectacular southern views over the lake and to the mountains beyond. Its gentle plateau is home to green fields, farms and woods, and is a haven of quiet serenity. It forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lavaux, famous for its vineyards that skirt the mountainside down to the lake.
Mont Pelerin is situated in the exceptional setting of the Swiss Riviera and forms part of the Lavaux, where villages nestle among the vineyards that hug the steep slopes down to Lac Leman. It enjoys a mild climate and fine views over the eastern side of the lake, considered its most beautiful part, and the mountains beyond. One hour from Geneva and tucked between Lausanne and Montreux, it is just fifteen minutes from the pretty town of Vevey, one-time home of Charlie Chaplin. Lausanne and Montreux provide a full complement of cultural, musical and recreational activities as well as outstanding educational institutions and boarding schools.
