Combloux is perhaps best known as “The Pearl of Mont Blanc” due to the outstanding 360 degree panoramic views it offers of the Mont Blanc mountain range. It is also a pretty, family-friendly village with good ski links to Megève and St. Gervais-les-Bains as well as being part of the Évasion Mont Blanc ski pass, which makes the whole the Chamonix Valley accessible. Combloux has a permanent population of only 2000 but has recently grown as a destination ski resort because of its close links to several other more famous resorts such as Chamonix, Argentière, Megève and St. Gervais-les-Bains.
Combloux has a strong farming tradition and there are several farms proudly offering visit and tasting sessions during the summer months. Combloux ski resort shares its ski area with the Évasion Mont Blanc area which totals a whopping 445km of downhill skiing. There are 116 ski lifts serving 217 pistes with 33 black, 84 red, 63 blue and 37 green. The area also has 499 snow cannons. It is very well linked to Megève, St Gervais and the Chamonix Valley. Combloux is only 4km from Megève and 30km from Chamonix.
The village of Combloux itself offers a snowboarding park and 62km of ski runs and is served by 25 ski lifts with the capacity to move 22,500 boarders and skiers per hour.

A particular attraction of Combloux is that in the summer months, the farms throw open their doors and invite visitors to taste their foods, many offering opportunities to get hands on.
